A good mix of engine cards like ] + friends, ] and payoffs could be the way to go. All the reanimator creatures such as ], ] should be great. Basically, each point of reduction is better than the last and if you can get -3 on creatures you can maybe just storm off to your wincon. I think some key includes are more cost reduction effects such as ], ]. I made a quick list of cards if you want to take a look: I personally don't think bouncing and big stompy creatures are the way to go, but I'm not too sure how the deck will win apart from mass reanimation or hulk combo. You have some cool includes I missed like Champion of Rhonas and Daemogoth woe-eater. Do I need to cut some lands or ramp? Or do I need to add more big-hitters or tutors? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Also, if you have any cool cards to recommend I add, I would love to hear those ideas too! So I was just wondering what this deck needs to get it running the way it needs to. I get flooded sometimes but I don't have a crazy amount of lands, even for a deck with big creatures, so I'm not sure if that is the issue or not. Even if the deck is slow, most of the time I am just not getting my wincons into my hand and I don't know why. I have ramp, removal, plenty of creatures, and good payoffs, but whenever I playtest the deck I can't seem to get the cards I need. My big issue is that everything in the deck looks good ratio-wise. I also have some cheeky plays to cheat in creatures then bounce them to my hand to ignore the 'sac at end of turn' deal. The goal is to cheat in creatures, recur creatures, and get serious value from doing all of that. ] from the commander precons looked like a really interesting card, so I figured I would try and build around him. I have tried in the past with Ikoria, but didn't go well, so I figured I would try it again here. With all of the cool 3-color cards from New Capenna, I am looking to make my first honest attempt at a 3-color deck.
